The HBU workshop will gather researchers dealing with the problem of modeling human behavior under its multiple facets (expression of emotions, display of complex social and relational behaviors, performance of individual or joint actions, etc.), with particular attention to interactions in arts, creativity, entertainment and edutainment. Concrete examples are interactive art installations that sense and respond to their viewers in novel ways, persuasive and serious games, affect-sensing systems with educational goals, gesture-sensing tutoring systems, healthcare systems that improve the patients’ physical or cognitive well-being, playful interaction settings that serve beneficial purposes, to name a few.
