SUBMISSION ISTRUCTIONS

Perspective authors are invited to send a brief abstract (250 words)
to the following address: alessandro.dinuovo@plymouth.ac.uk.
Full papers must be submitted via the journal online submission
system: http://www.editorialmanager.com/soro/
Authors should specify that the submission is for the special issue by
selecting "S.I.: New Frontiers of Service Robotics for Active and
Healthy Ageing" from the drop-down list under "Choose Article Type" on
the first page of the new submission.

future research in the field of service robotics for active and
healthy ageing, by submitting publication in following topics (the

* Socially assistive robotics
* Socially-aware robot navigation, task and motion planning
* Robot companions
* Cultural differences in user needs/expectations
* Tele-operated robots
* Multi-modal perception and interaction
* Context awareness, expectation and intention understanding
* Perception and modelling of humans and their behaviour
* Compliance, safety and compatibility in the design of social robots
"living" with humans
* Interaction and collaboration between robots, humans and environments
* Context awareness, expectation and intention understanding

IMPORTANT DATES

* Submission of revised papers: 31 May 2015
